Easy Raw Chocolate Mousse

Raw. Vegan. Gluten Free.

Tastier and better for you than the typical dairy (sugary and fatty) sort!

Packed full of magnesium, potassium (3 times more than the banana), iron and copper (for blood health), good monounsaturated fats, B vitamins ( for energy metabolism) and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E (for immunity).

 –Ingredients-

– 2 medium avocados
– 3-4 Tbsp cacao powder (carob or plain cocoa powder works too if you don’t have the raw stuff)– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2-3 Tbsp of liquid sweetener (I use agave, or you could use maple syrup or raw honey. You can also use less of these and substitute with a natural calorie free sweetener such as stevia)– 1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional, just helps set the mousse a bit more)

– 1-2 Tbsp warm water

-Method-

Place all ingredients into a food processor, mini blender/magic bullet until combined and smooth. You may want to add or subtract the sweetener and cacao to taste depending on how sweet and dark you like your chocolate 🙂
