A macro and micro nutrient dense rich shake perfect following a workout.
– 1/2 C almond milk
– handful of ice cubes
– 1 scoop of vanilla Sunwarrior raw protein powder/or other protein powder of choice (pea or rice is advisable to whey or soy)
– 1/2 t peppermint essence or a couple of drops of peppermint extract/oil
– 15 mint leaves
-1 T carob powder or cacao
-1 T chia seeds
– pinch of stevia
– 1/2-1 frozen banana
– 1 t of super greens powder such as spirulina, wheatgrass or barley grass (optional)
– Throw all ingredients into a blender and mix away until smooth
– sprinkle some raw cacao nibs onto for an extra antioxidant crunch
